Breathing is source of our vitality. In this program of breathing we want to achieve the following objectives:<br />

1. To get a better dilated capacity of the thorax`s Box resulting in the increasing of respiratory volume.<br />
<br />
2. To increase welfare sensation.<br />
<br />
For doing these exercises we should take several tips into consideration:<br />
<br />
- Being relax and focus in exercises without hurries<br />
<br />
- Respect the order of exercises<br />
<br />

<b>Breathing exercises</b><br />
<br />
Breathing is source of our vitality. In this program of breathing we want to achieve the following objectives:<br />
<br />
1. To get a better dilated capacity of the thorax`s Box resulting in the increasing of respiratory volume.<br />
<br />
2. To increase welfare sensation.<br />
<br />
For doing these exercises we should take several tips into consideration:<br />
<br />
- Being relax and focus in exercises without hurries<br />
<br />
- Respect the order of exercises<br />
<br />
- Look for a quiet place and right moment, always avoiding digestion hours.<br />
<br />
- Repeat the exercises several times per day. With 2 times per day is more than enough.<br />
<br />
- Not to force the breathing muscles until the end, doing breathing process as natural as possible.<br />
<br />
- All exercises will be done in this order: first lie down, then seated and finally in standing position.<br />
<br />
- For controlling correct realization of each exercise put one hand on diaphragm (this should move during inhalation) and other on chest.<br />

<b>A. Exercises to promote nasal inhalation</b><br />
<br />
<br />

- Slow nasal inhalation, Stop for a few seconds and then breathing out with mouth.<br />

- Nasal inhalation covering right nostril and then breathing out with mouth.<br />
<br />
- Nasal inhalation covering left nostril and then breathing out with mouth.<br />
<br />
- Nasal inhalation on right nostril, breathing out on left nostril.<br />
<br />
<br />
Check by yourself:<br />
<br />
Take conscience of your breathing lying down and putting one hand on abdomen and the other on thorax, pay attention which part ascend and descend when you breath in and breath out.<br />

<b>B. Exercises to promote diaphragmatic breathing</b><br />
<br />
<br />

We start first lie down :<br />

- We put our hands on diaphragm and inhalate softly through nose softly, keep air for a few seconds and then breathing out with mouth.<br />

- We put our hands on ribs and inhalate softly through nose softly, keep air for a few seconds and then softly breathing out with mouth without blowing. Notice how our hands are moving when air complete thorax`s Box.<br />

- We put our hands on chest and inhalate softly through nose softly, keep air for a few seconds and then softly breathing out with mouth without blowing. Notice how our hands are not moving when air complete thorax`s Box.<br />

Then do the same previous exercises seated and then in standing position.<br />

<b>C. Exercises to promote controlled diaphragmatic breathing</b><br />
<br />
<br />
Position: lying down with our hands on diaphragm<br />
<br />
<br />
- Slow nasal inhalation toward diaphragm, keep air for a few seconds and then expel air in two times. The first time will permit us gain force and accuracy with our diaphragm.<br />
<br />
<br />
- Slow nasal inhalation toward diaphragm, keep air for a few seconds and then expel air in three times.<br />
<br />
- Slow nasal inhalations toward diaphragm in two times, keep air for a few seconds and then expel air softly.<br />
<br />
- Slow nasal inhalation toward diaphragm in two times, keep air for a few seconds and then expel air in two times.<br />
<br />
<br />
Then do the same previous exercises seated and then in standing position. Also we can vary times of breathing out and breathing in.<br />
